So, basically, what I’m getting from that promo is…

flower-of-the-desert:

Derek: Peter is the alpha, I’m gonna kill him.

Derek: Lydia is the kanima, I’m gonna kill her.

Derek: Jackson is the kanima, I’m gonna kill him.

Derek: Duecalion is the demon wolf, I’m gonna kill him.

Derek: Jennifer is the darach, I’m gonna kill her.

Chris: Stiles is the nogitsune, I’m gonna kill him.

Derek: Touch him and die!

breenwolf:

I WANNA BUILD SHRINES TO EVERYTHING THAT’S HAPPENING IN THIS MOMENT FOR DEREK HALE THOUGH.

like, here he is, faced with all this evidence that stiles is the nogitsune (and keep in mind that is the dude who was willing to believe lydia was the kanima just cuz she didn’t become a werewolf, who was willing to believe that jackson was the kanima just because he oozed a little black blood— derek hale is not a man who has maintained high standards for supernatural evidence, that’s all i’m saying), and it’s still so fucking outrageous to him that stiles— STILES!— of all people could ever be a threat that he’s arguing it, insisting against it, willing to consider all other possibilities before, before —-

then there’s that beautiful moment captured in the last gif here where he suddenly sees, his unfocused expression suddenly narrows and his eyelashes flutter and it’s like he’s realizing, oh, oh, oh, that’s why it chose stiles.

is this the first moment derek’s realizing he might have to subdue stiles, hurt him— maybe kill him— to keep beacon hills (including those stiles loves most) safe? probably not. but it’s probably the first time derek hale has realized that he, like half this goddamn town, has got a stiles-stilinski-sized blind spot and he’d better start checking it.

Can we talk about how this is not only a beautiful Sterek-moment but also how all the Sterek-scenes from the last episode all got over 10k notes in less than a day?
